Throughout our event we have introduced you to a range of Web 2.0 tools and demonstrated how they can be used in a variety of contexts. We hope this has increased your knowledge and confidence regarding Web 2.0 tools and has given you ideas for your own classrooms.
Most importantly, we believe that participating in this online event would have highlighted the opportunities and challenges to enriching learning and teaching using ICTs. Using English to frame our online event, we aimed to stimulate your thoughts through online clips, brainstorming activities, online polls and a variety of Web 2.0 tasks. We prompted you to participate in a collaborative inquiry with your peers and thus engage in a discovery learning experience that will contribute to the development of your own ICT pedagogy.
